Last night saw the first screening of the short film I edited for Mat Kirkby from RSA Films. After working on his project for quite a while, I couldn't quite believe how quickly the screening had come around. There was a fantastic turn out from people across the industry and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was something quite magical about seeing your hard work all finished and up there on a big screen. A massive thank you to Mat Kirkby for getting me involved in the project and letting me edit it. I am truly so proud of everyone that worked so hard to make sure we finished with an impressive piece of work. Brilliant team effort.
Since my last post (which was roughly 2 months ago) I have been one busy bee.
I went into a month long edit for the short film 'The Phone Call' shot by Mat Kirkby @ RSA Films. It is now into the final stages of post production and will have its first screening on the 11th June! I'm so excited to see it in all its glory on a big screen.
From that I wen't straight onto a Bruno Banani spot, shot by Steve Fuller @ 15 Badgers, and am currently working with JJ from Nice Shirt Films on the latest KFC spot.
All of which I will upload asap once finished and available for use. So keep checking back for all of my latest work. There will also be some work from the beginning of the year that went into research that will soon be available for use that once I have the go ahead I will also upload.
I am also excited to say that I will be jetting off to Malaga for my next job with Joel Pront for Saudi Airlines. Its always nice when you get to cut on location and the location happens to be 26 degrees and pure sunshine. Life could be worse I guess.
To top it off Cannes Lions 2013 is only17 days away and I can't wait! This year is set to be a memorable one. All of the gossip on my return!
So here it is,'Ton Eighty'. Directed by Sam Huntley @ Mad Cow and written by Andy Preston @ Havas Worldwide.
'Ton Eighty' is the second instalment from the duo. The first short, 'Tibs' was indepedently financed by Sam & Andy. Tibs the cat tries to impress her slave with a few choice gifts...
Its been a busy month working on some fantastic projects, most of which are in post production. So keep checking back as they will all be posted once finished.
Above is a sneaky still from the Senseo Sarista commercial I cut with Tim Brown @ 15 Badgers.
I've had the pleasure of working with Mat Kirkby @ RSA Films on his latest comedic KFC spot for BBH.
The latest Short from talented duo Sam Huntley & Andy Preston will be released soon. Its not to be missed!!
And I don't know about everyone else but once you start cutting jobs with Santa in you know its time to get excited about Christmas!! Keep you eyes peeled for The Festive KFC spot for BBH by Andrea Kapos @ Another Film Company.
